On November 25th, a delegation led by Paul Vandoren, Director General of Trade and Economics Section of European Union paid a friendly visit to Shanghai Administration of Industry and Commerce (SHAIC). Gu Renda, Deputy Director General of SHAIC met the guests. The two sides exchanged views on the current law enforcement in the field of the trademark protection. Gu said, Shanghai Municipal Government attaches great importance to the intellectual rights protection, and under its leadership, SHAIC has made great efforts both in the judicial level and in the administrative level to protect the right of trademark holders. Mr. Vandoren greatly appreciated the work done by SHAIC and expressed wishes for continual and further cooperation.
